| CDC announces Dallas County Immunization Rates on the Rise 09/17/2007 @ 2:14 PM CT The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Immunization Survey, announced today that Dallas County`s 2006 immunization rates increased by 2 percent. The National Immunization Survey, conducted annually by the CDC, assesses immunization levels among preschool children. In 2006, Dallas County’s immunization rate increased from 72.8% to 73.9%. This is the second year in a row Dallas County has increased its immunization rates. In 2005, Dallas County’s immunization rate increased from 67.1% to 72.8%.
